DRMC offers the area’s only 24/7/365 emergency department.

The state-of-the-art unit is equipped with:

• two trauma rooms
• 17 acute-care beds
• an isolation room for patients with highly communicable conditions (such as tuberculosis) and those who are at high risk of infection
• a decontamination room for patients who have been exposed to hazardous chemicals
• a semi-private orthopedic treatment room
• a fast track area (6-beds) with a streamlined triage process to help ensure that patients with minor emergencies receive prompt care
