Eric Deaton,
Chief Executive Officer
Eric Deaton joined Danville Regional Medical Center in 2010 after leading Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Virginia. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. Eric is known for his expertise in recruiting physicians, collaborating with internal teams as well as community teams to improve the health and wellness of all in the community. He also serves as a Fellow for the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Milligan College in Milligan, Tenn. and his Masters in Business Administration from Bristol College in Bristol, Tenn.

Mark joined DRMC in 2007 after a five-year stint as the CFO at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He received his degree from Louisiana Tech University.
